This is painting #2 of the 30/30 challenge with Leslie Saeta
My seascapes usually include beach, water and sky, I thought I'd just paint water yesterday.
This piece was poured over an older painting on a textured canvas.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

 Thanks for stopping by..

I am excited to be participating yet again, in Leslie Saeta's 30 day painting challenge.

A few days ago I revealed a BIG SECRET....if you missed it- you can read it HERE

I have been doing a bit of ROLLING IN THE DEEP (also called REFLECTING) the past few days- as most of us do at the beginning of the new year.

Looking at old journal entries- reviewing what my goals were last year-which ones I achieved- where I fell short--all that jazz!!

I said in yesterday's post that my #1 goal this year is to be better at Gratitude- so after perusing through my journals from 2015- my #2 goal for 2016 is to Be KINDER to ME !!
Less critical for sure!!

I am a kind person and I believe a wonderful friend- to everyone but ME!!:)

So let me reword the sentence above "reviewing what my goals were last year-which ones I achieved- where I fell short!"  to BE  "reviewing what my goals were last year-which ones I achieved-and which ones I get to roll over onto this years list"

Doesn't that sound kinder to you??

I'd like to challenge you to be KINDER to yourself this year- as kind as you are to your very Best Friend:)
