We are now at San Fedele in the Chianti Hills.
San Fedele is a monastery dating back to the 12th century.
It was meticulously restored using traditional building methods and original building materials
The beautiful chapel is now used as a workshop/studio space.
The story of how the current owners came to purchase is is quite a love story.
It took 30 designers/architects 7 years to complete the restoration.
It is beyond lovely, and I could stay here for months!!

Beautiful double doors that open to a magnificent view of the tuscan hillside across the square.
The Church....our classroom, where we have spent little time thus far as our schedule had been packed, but rest assured we have collected plenty of inspiration for years to come of painting!!
