Smile at yourself smile at others, smile at your pets and the pile of work on your desk and your laundry and your dishes and the crazy drivers on the road, and did I say YOURSELF?? Before long you'll be giggling, and the smile will be real not forced!!

I wish this were a much larger piece, it was quite shocking when the head and torso appeared, and not planned...but the day I painted it was a day of confusion for me, as I was trying to make an important decision. My heart knew what was truth, but my head kept asking contradictory questions.....I wonder if I would have even seen the "figure" emerge had I not been in such a state.
