Moving Metals/ Horizon II. Original expressionist painting on 12x12x2 gallery wrapped canvas. The paint flow continues around the side for a beautiful finish, as shown in the upper photo. This painting is one of three in an altered "moving metals" palette. I darkened the silver, brightened the copper, and gave the bronze more of a soft chocolate tone. I am so pleased with the soft palette, and feel the colors work beautifully together. I usually paint in very bold color, but this palette really speaks to me.
